A Mesquite wood cremation urn turned from a beautiful piece of burl. The urn sits on a turned and carved base with opal inserts on each leg. The urn lid is a carved turquoise nugget adhered to a Mesquite piece and the lid attaches with a brass threaded insert. Capacity is 50 cu. inches. It can serve in a keepsake capacity or as a pet urn. Voids in the wood have been filled with natural and synthetic turquoise. Finish is multiple coats of penetrating oil.
