This is an urn that was fashioned on a lathe from Texas Mesquite. The wood has beautiful color and grain. Bead-like bands are added to enhance the beauty of the wood. A large turquoise stone is added to the lid. Four butterfly patches are inserted to stabilize the natural cracks in the wood. A brass threaded insert is used to fasten the lid to the body. 11 inches tall and 8 inches wide. 230 cu. in. capacity.
