A bowl turned from Box Elder with a segmented Mesquite Rim and a Christian cross insert made from Maple and Mesquite. The Box Elder has some wonderful grain radiance and the rim of Mesquite is a beautiful contrast. There are 20 segments of Mesquite divided by thin strips of black veneer. The inset is a Maple cross with a knot feature at the top of the cross. Signed and dated on the bottom and inscribed with "I Believe".
